Finding a nice black shirt for men is often a headache, almost as much as for a white shirt.
The difficulty comes from the complexity of finding a fabric that does not shine while being double twisted (a double twisted fabric is a fabric whose thread has been doubled - 2 threads wrapped on top of each other - before being woven). We didn't want the fabric to be silky so as not to look too dressy, but it's all the more complicated to obtain because the cotton thread used is doubled. The fabric we created is matte and compact, it wrinkles little, is not too thin (nor too thick) is pleasant to wear. It is part of our range of poplin shirts that many of you have told us that you would like our entire range of dress shirts to be identical.
The black poplin shirt can be worn with colored pants. We do not recommend it with a charcoal or dark blue suit (dark on dark effect).
You will have understood, we have done everything to ensure that this fabric is of very good quality and can be worn in all situations. We have made sure to avoid the defects found in this kind of shirt.
