Our opinion
The oxford fabric is characterized by doubled warp and weft threads creating a grainy effect to the touch.
Technically, the weave is made from a braided weave with doubled warp threads (double twisted) and a single, thicker and softer weft thread. The warp threads are light blue and the weft threads are white which helps to accentuate the braided effect forming a tiny quadrature.
The fabric is very soft to the touch, made with a fine cotton yarn.
As with our entire Oxford collection, the fabric is quite stiff and easy to care for.
Our opinion: the advantages of this fabric vs. competing fabrics: good resistance to wear and tear and little shrinkage, the fabric being pre-washed in the workshop.
